Sea Gypsy loves having dogs come to visit. Sea Gypsy is one of the few places in Malaysia you can bring your dog on holiday with you, where they can play on the beach, go on hikes and enjoy an outdoor environment.

Sea Gypsy is the perfect place for a dog that is friendly with all people and animals, loves the outdoors, doesn’t mind getting dirty, and will be comfortable sleeping outside on the veranda.

Here are some amenities we provide for dogs

Shampoo

A doggy blow dryer

Towels

Dog bowls for food and water

Tents for dogs to use on the balcony if needed

A doggy birthday cake made to order (at a surcharge)

Please read the below list of policies for dogs, all policies are upheld strictly and must be adhered to by all dog owners.

Sea Gypsy retains the right to ask guests to leave at any time if management find the policies are not being followed

Dogs may not enter the Bar or Restaurant at any time, they must stay outside

Dogs may not enter the rooms; they must remain on the balcony.

As of August 2026, dogs are no longer allowed in the rooms even if placed in a kennel or tent, they may only sleep and rest on the room’s balcony

Sea Gypsy retain the right to check the room

An automatic fine of RM500 for deep cleaning will be added to your extras if your dog has been found to enter the room.

All dog poo must be picked up and thrown into the dog bins

If your dog barks consistently, you will be asked to leave out of respect to our other customers

If your dog bites anyone, you will be asked to leave immediately with no exceptions

Dogs may not be left unattended at any time

Dogs are not permitted on snorkelling, diving, the waterfall walk or the sunset trip.

We do not refrigerate any dog food as this is against the halal kitchen guidelines.

You will be required to sign an agreement upon booking to acknowledge your understanding of the above policies

At Tanjung Leman (The Jetty)

We ask that you make sure your dog has been taken out for number 1s and 2s before you reach the jetty

Please do not take your dog into the main Jetty facility, please keep them outdoors while someone uses the kiosk to pay the marine park and jetty fees

When the boat is ready, please walk your dog quickly to the boat, our staff will help them board.

Please keep your dog on the floor of the boat and do not allow them on the seats.

While all dogs are welcome to the resort, we ask that all of the policies are respected in order to align with cultural and social values of our Muslim guests and staff.
